Running debian chroot taken from here, http://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...87&postcount=9 with emdebian repositories.
I'm not too well versed in what I am attempting to do. I am running myts8 and compiled LinkX with graphics mode enabled and some kind of framebuffer plugin called DirectFB 1.2.10 since my limited understanding tells me this is the likely path to get it to work.
However when running (It make installs as "links" for some reason)
I get
/dev/tty does exist but it doesn't seem to select that, will figuring out how to pick tty make it work? Is what I'm trying to do even possible?
All I want is a better web browser for my kindle 3 than the one included under "experimental" with the ability to download and also display images. (Maybe even automatically open up mplayer when clicking a media link)

Code:
# links -g
Code:
(*) DirectFB/Core: Single Application Core. (2012-05-20 16:00)
(!) DirectFB/core/vt: Couldn't open neither '/dev/tty0' nor '/dev/vc/0'!
--> No such file or directory
(!) DirectFB/Core: Could not initialize 'system_core' core!
--> Initialization error!
