I spent yesterday afternoon downgrading/jailbreaking (w/Kubrick), and fonthacking my Kindle Touch. I am much, much happier with my new default serif font -- hundreds of pages of Caecilia is no good.
So, I thought I was ready for the next phase: turning on the WiFi and seeing whether my KT could upgrade without losing the jailbreak. But when I turn on WiFi, my KT does not find any networks. The networks are there, same as always.
At first I thought it could be due to the USB Networking that gets turned on as part of the Kubrick process, but when I enable diagnostics and restart, the menus indicate that USB Networking isn't enabled -- so I think, but am not sure, that's not the problem.
There is probably some really simple setting that needs to be flipped, because there's no indication at all that the KT is in any other way not functioning right (including the Wifi Test diagnostic, which passes).
