K3 GLIBC_2.4 Missing

I wanted a specific optware package on my Kindle, so I switched from the NSLU2 repository to the one at jlime.com. It had libc6 as a requirement so I happily installed that as well. ipkg crashed immediately after installing it, and nothing I run works, mplayer, ipkg, librerator. I know I replaced the C library on the kindle with a (newer? different?) version and that's causing the problem somehow but why?:smack:-

How can I fix this? Factory resetting does nothing.
