Hi! I just recently got a Voyage and liking it so far.
As with all of my devices, I like to install KOReader on them.
Since the FW is 5.13.6, I followed the WatchThis instructions and was able to successfully jailbreak the device (the secret gesture was hard to get right on the Voyage!)
After that, I installed mrpi and KUAL (and some KUAL extensions like KUAL+ and stuff, all of them the latest version from the snapshot thread), as well as KOReader (latest version 2023.06.1), but it feels quite buggy.
I tried launching KOReader (NOT the no-framework option) and it worked mostly fine, but the buttons seems to stop working after a while (maybe after closing the case and reopening) - there was a post somewhere about "you have to do the swipe gesture to get the buttons back", but I tried something like that and still did not get the buttons back after wake.
Aside from the button-after-wake issue, when I exit KOReader and get back to the Kindle UI, it seems to hang in the KUAL menu and nothing responds to touch on the screen... except it seems to actually register but is just frozen in the KUAL view, so what happens is that it takes me to some random place (like a random book in the store), probably because that's what I'm actually pressing on the screen even though it's showing me the KUAL menu. Not sure if anyone else has seen that?
Then I saw posts saying that the no-frameworks option has been fixed to use buttons, so I tried that... buttons seems to work, but before I was able to try to sleep/wake and test the buttons, KOReader crashed and the whole device rebooted. I haven't tried again afterwards.
Has anyone else seen these issues?
I'm wondering if I installed mrpi and KUAL correctly... I literally just put the mrpi directories onto the root directory and then put KUAL inside and just ran `log_mrpi`, and it didn't throw any errors... I didn't have to use any of the "hot fix" bins - should I have?
Also, I read some stuff about booklets, but I'm not sure if I'm using them or not - those posts seemed old so I'm not sure what is the latest on those?
Thanks!
