Hi, I hope someone can help me in this effort.
I have managed to blocked unwanted updates by renaming a file that is used by Kindle to do the updates... this is not the old OTA blocker trick. This one works. The problem is, it is not something I learned myself, it has been told to me by someone and I can't now recall what file they where.
I am trying now the difficult challenge to identify it by comparing the filenames with on kindle where the OTA update works... but to do so I would need someone to dump me their complete filename list of his kindle "internal" directory. No private information required, I only need the filenames. If anybody is willing to help, I'd be very grateful, thank you!
