looking for a full screen clock for KT2 device

hi, I'm looking to convert an old kindle touch 2 that I don't use anymore into a wifi weather enabled bedside clock. I'm jailbroken, and have installed KUAL. essentially, this is what i'm looking for, but it does not run on a kindle touch. I have no clue why, and i'd really like to figure it out. can someone please help or advise. Maybe there is a better more up to date way of creating a full screen clock for the kindle touch. again, please let me know.

also i'm aware that this will chew through battery, but i'm mainly going to have the kindle plugged in all the time, so its not an issue.
