Bricked Kindle 4, No Fastboot/Diags (CONT.)

Hello everyone,

I posted a little while ago in another part of these forums back in mid January trying to get some help with recovering my Kindle 4 (Non-Touch) after the Kubrick and MfgTool failed to yield any results.

If you want to read a little more on the background, the thread this here:
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=344416

The user there suggested connecting to the serial port to get a better idea of what was going on, so in the time since, I ordered a USB to Serial FTDI Adaptor with a 1.8v mode, and have finally been able to get something out of the Kindle. But sadly, it seems like there is still a lot of work to do.

Simply turning on the Kindle does nothing but using Kubrick tool, although it doesn't get past the 'Waiting for Fastboot' page, the serial monitor spits out the following:

If there is anyone who can help shed some light on what has gone wrong and can help me get this kindle back up and running, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you very much in advance for any insight you may be able to provide!
