Name: sc - spreadsheet calculator. Another vintage(2002) linux command line application from the debian jessie armel repository...KUAL-ified for the Kindles!
Version: 7.16-4
Authors: James Gosling, Mark Weiser, Martin Schulze and others.
From the README: "This is a much modified version of the public domain spread sheet sc, originally by James Gosling, and posted a number of years ago by Mark Weiser as vc."
Kindle background:
There used to be a paid active content spreadsheet application on the Amazon website.
Some attempt was made by twobob to port gnumeric to the kindles. See threads: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...ht=spreadsheet and https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...ht=spreadsheet
It actually seems to have run on twobob's kindles.. but he couldn't make a public release.
The application here is not a graphic one like gnumeric, but is quite usable and has a lot of features.
Needs: Jailbroken Kindle, KUAL, kterm.
Should work on: All Kindles from KT1 onwards. Tested OK on: PW1.
