Please help K2I wont update

To start off I bought a K2I at a garage sale the serial is a B003 and it is stuck on firmware version 2.2.2 and wont update. I think it may have hacks on it but I cant uninstall them because im not sure what was installed and dont have the uninstall bin files. I tried some that i found but the device still will not update. any help please maybe a mass uninstaller or a newer firmware version maybe 2.3.
