Kindle PaperWhite EY21 Noob question

Hello, i buy i Kindle PaperWhite EY21 on ebay, This is my first Kindle.

I have Android on my Tablets and smarthphone
But im totally new with the "android like" Kindle OS.

I want to access the setting, but setting are in "gray" mode and i cannot access the setting button.

I try to reset (holding the power button 20 sec) but no way to activate the setting button.
